Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most well-known character was that of Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. In addition to playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward as well, she was a part of The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for acting in the Preparatory school, before moving to Ohio with her family in early 1970s. She spent a year at the British American Drama Academy and was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna started out in Chicago, working in theatre roles for many years. Then she moved to Hollywood where she started acting in movies and television shows. Anna was the first to get a major part in the role of Arden in the TV show Down the Shore. Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. She also guest-starred on the show. played in Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. In fact, it was only in the latter part of 1990 when she was cast in the role of The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was cast in Deadwood playing Martha Bullock for two full seasons. The show was recast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully was also one of her characters. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. Gunn acted as Numbered Days, a four part audio podcast that will air in 2022. The romance that exists between Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the narrative of Breaking Bad with the strained connection between them and its eventual demise arguably mirroring the same arc of Walter White's last years of his life.
