Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name on the television. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother as well as a Mexican father from Columbus Ohio. In the next few years, she moved to Texas. She began a career in the field of physical therapy. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long, and she soon moved into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of acting roles, such as local independent films and commercials. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was Marisol Deko in the role of husband of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. As Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC following only two episodes.
