Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name on the television. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother as well as a Mexican father from Columbus Ohio. In the next few years, she moved to Texas. She began a career in the field of physical therapy. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long, and she soon moved into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of acting roles, such as local independent films and commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love in the field of acting even in minor roles. Then she moved from New York and in 2001 she got her first role on the daytime soap opera All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she was a small part on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first major series role in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano, alongside a number of top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. In 2006 she was also cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. Following a brief time, her character moved onto Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has been nominated several times for her character, among them Best Supporting Actress in Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring part. She was Marisol Deko in the role of husband of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. As Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC following only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger twin brother Cory was born 10 years older than her. Her family was very strict and religious one. Milano began her career at seven when her babysitter accompanied her on an audition for acting. Her audition was among over 1000 hopefuls. Her audition was considered the only girl. Milano performed in television advertisements and off-Broadway shows including the very first American musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
